Expertise & Experience
The aims of FICE include:
Defending, representing and promoting the Rights of the Child, as stated in the UN's Convention and in the official documents of the Council of Europe, especially the rights of children in need of special protection.
Developing, assuring and improving the quality of activities in the field of childcare, regarding especially the interest of children who do not live within their family and are therefore in need of special support.
Observing strict political and religious neutrality and rejecting all forms of discrimination on the basis of race as well as any xenophobia. |
Partner Agencies
In VIVACE FICE worked with the Drehscheibe Augarten Crisis Management Centre run by Vienna's Youth Department. The Centre undertakes a wide range of activities designed to afford support and protection to young people at risk. The Austrian model of crisis managment centres has been replicated in Romania and Bulgaria to ensure early intervention to minimise the risk of child prostitution and theft.
