The objectives of VIVACE are to:
- extend and develop the expertise acquired through ALLEGRO by working with a wider range of EU partners and with new social care providers;
- bring the awareness of language learning to groups and individuals who, for reasons of disadvantage, have been excluded from language learning;
- work with social care providers to introduce language awareness to the range of activities for groups in their care;
- ensure sustainability of the insights gained through ALLEGRO/VIVACE by
- working with the language teaching profession to develop methodological and pedagogical insights for delivery to non-standard groups;
- providing advice and expertise to social care providers for use beyond VIVACE;
- contribute to professional debates on language learning and special needs at national and trans-national levels;
- work in partnership across the EU to achieve these aims.
